After she received her bachelor's degree in piano performance she came to the United States in 2002 to study at Oklahoma City University where she graduated with master's degrees in solo piano performance with honors.
she continued her formal education at the University of Arizona as a Doctor of Musical Arts in Keyboard Collaborative Arts. She won several solo piano competitions in Korea and United States such as the the Green Valley Piano Competition and Presidents Concerto Competition at University of Arizona.
She has served as a staff accompanist at Oklahoma City University, Lakewood High, Orange County school of the Arts(OCSA), Brea Olinda High.
She has been an active member of the Music Teacher Association of California and collaborative pianist at Santa Ana College.
